GBarena is the MENA’s first and leading Esports platform that connects and serves the entire Esports ecosystem stakeholders (game publishers, sponsors, event organizers, gamers, teams, and content creators) with products and services based on data analysis. The fast-growing platform, established in 2015, helps other businesses and brands reach a unique target audience through gaming by offering custom-branded Esports experiences.
In October 2021, Gbarena closed an investment round preparing it for a series A round of investment in 2022. The new funds allow for developing new services such as building a platform store and producing GB coins to let gamers buy in-game items from the store.
Achievements:
- 2017: GBarena won the French Tech Ticket, incubated in Belle de Mai, and supported by
the French government
- 2018: the first official tournament hosted on GBarena platform sponsored by Virgin Megastore
- 2019: GBarena received its initial investment from HIMAngel
- 2020: the platform obtained a seed investment from AUC Angels
- 2021: GBarena reached 200K registered users and 500K participations
- Min 2021: GBarena received a bridge investment
