The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) through its Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) intends to partner with one Operator to program and operate an ITIDA-owned building located on campus of the Suez Canal University in Ismailia. The building is to function as Community Innovation Hub (CIH).
TIEC subsidizes the CIH Program through availing space and furniture, and through covering space rent, furniture, lab equipments, utilities, Internet cost, security, and cleanliness, in addition to granting annually a maximum amount of EGP 2M to cover specific operating costs as described in this RFP. The CIH Operator must pass this subsidy to target CIH customer groups through non-profit and development services. The non-profit customer group includes school and university students, entrepreneurs, startups, and university employees and staff, whereas the developmental customer services include educational workshops, entrepreneurship consultancy and acceleration, career development services, and incubation of seed-stage startups.
