Innovation and Design Thinking for Government Leaders is a series of workshops launched on 15 July 2020, The programs targets leaders & decision-makers in the government sector that aims to foster and reinforce the innovation and design thinking concepts to government leaders. The program's vision is to introduce the concept of innovation, creativity, and intrapreneurship to governmental employees. This would support the governmental leaders in applying the design thinking methodology as well as practicing innovation tools and how to use them and introducing the process of implementing new approaches to tackle old problems, with the goal of helping public services better serve citizens.
Program Objectives
 

The main objectives of the program could be summarized as follows: 

Offer the governmental leaders/Employs the concept of innovation, creativity, and Intrapreneurship.
Offers a brief about the concept of Government 2.0
Apply design thinking methodology. 
Provide the trainees the methodology of challenge formulation (problem)
Practice some of the innovation tools and how to use them
Discuss how to benefit from the application of this workshop in the development of government services and contribute to the system of government excellence.
