Lamiaa El Rashidy is the Technology Incubation Department Manager at the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC). Through managing TIEC’s incubation department, she aims at promoting entrepreneurial spirit and increasing the small- and medium-sized enterprises of the information and communication technology (ICT) sector in Egypt.

Lamiaa has over 8 years of experience in the incubation business. She joined the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) in 2010 as an Incubation Specialist and thereafter she supported, through her efforts, many of the current Egyptian successful IT startups. ​​

Lamiaa has joined the Center since its inception in September 2010 and has been managing the incubation department as the Incubation Department Manager since June 2012. Prior to her current position, she held different positions at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt and DaimlerChrysler Egypt.

Lamiaa earned an MBA from Maastricht School of Management (MSM), with distinction and a BA of business administration in marketing, from the American University in Cairo (AUC) with high honors.
