  • What does TIEC do?

    Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (better known as TIEC), within the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (d.b.a. ITIDA), empowers technology in all facets of life in Egypt. TIEC, established in Smart Village since 2010, contributes to the national economy through driving innovation and entrepreneurship in the local industry to ensure ICT benefits to both people and business.

    The Center supports R&D in the domestic industry, observes iClusters, finances startups and promotes Egypt as an outsourcing/offshoring location.

  • Does TIEC offer funded learning tracks for students?

    Yes, TIEC website has a dedicated section for talent building programs.

    Go to “Build your Talent” section from the mega menu and learn about our upskilling programs.

    InnovEgypt, currently operates online, is TIEC’s flagship program custom-tailored for university students. Next Technology Leaders (NTL)is a fully-funded learning initiative for students, grads and professionals.

  • Does TIEC offer jobs?

  • How do I register to TIEC database?

    • Click the Register button at the top of TIEC’s homepage.
    • On the registration webpage, you are asked to fill in multiple details across a number of steps.
    • When registered, you receive an email with a verification link to verify your account before logging in.

  • How to login to TIEC website?

    • Go to TIEC homepage.
    • Click the Sign In button at the top of the page.
    • On the Login page, you are asked to enter your email and password.
    • Tick the “I’m not a robot” CAPTCHA box..
    • Then click the Sign In button at the end of the pageli

  • How to edit my TIEC profile?

    • When you are logged in, the Login button at the top of the page will turn to Welcome username.
    • Hover above your profile button.
    • A drop down menu will show 4 links.
    • Choose Edit Profile and you can edit your profile information.

  • How to change my password?

    • Hover above your profile button.
    • A drop down menu will show many links.
    • Choose Change Password..
    • You will be directed to page asking for your old password and desired new one. Click the Change Password button to confirm the change Or you may cancel the change process by clicking the Cancel button.

  • How to reach My Workspace?

    • Hover above your profile button.
    • A drop down menu will show many links.
    • Choose My Workspace.
    • You will be directed to My Workspace webpage with the following buttons: My Submissions ,My Careers, My E-Tenders, My Page, My Persona, My Applicants

  • What is a Persona ?

    You can choose My Persona from My Workspace (accessed from the drop down menu under your account name at the top of the page) to pick your persona. There are different personas available you can register under. Press Apply Now beside Student persona to choose it

  • Student Persona

    Student Persona is best for students currently enrolled in any academic year within any university/faculty based in Egypt.

    • Press Apply Now beside Student persona to choose it.
    • In the Student Persona Form, you will be asked to fill some details like: full name in Arabic, national ID number, university, faculty, department, your current enrollment year, address, and field of interest. You will need to upload your CV.

  • Media Persona

    The Media Persona is best for journalists, foreign correspondents, reporters, newsmen, broadcasters, and editors. By subscribing to the Media Persona, press and media personnel receive press releases and news about the TIEC and ICT sector in Egypt.

    • Press Apply Now beside Media Persona to choose it.
    • In the Media Persona Form (only accessible when logged in), you should fill some these details: your organization name/type, current position, media category, and address.

  • Researcher Persona

    The Researcher Persona is best for academic researchers of local universities and who are specialized in the information and communication technology.

    • Press Apply Now beside Researcher Persona to choose it.
    • In the Researcher Persona Form (sign in required to access this form), you will be asked to fill some details like: full name in Arabic, national ID number, university, faculty, department, your current enrollment year, address, and field of interest. You will also have to upload your CV.

  • IT Professional Persona

    IT Professional Persona is best for the information technology talents and professionals working in Egypt.

    • Press Apply Now beside IT Professional Persona to choose it.
    • In the IT Professional Persona Form (sign in required to access this form), you will be asked to fill some details like: full name in Arabic, national ID number, university, area of highest degree, years of experience in the IT field, current work status, field of IT experience, and certifications. Please upload your CV.

  • Business Professional Persona

    The Business Professional Persona is best for those who work in any business discipline, rather than IT/ITES

    • Press Apply Now beside Business Professional Persona to choose it.
    • In the Business Professional Persona Form (sign in required to access this form), you will be asked to fill some details like: current position, website, years of experience, phone office, fields of expertise, and certifications. Please upload your CV.

  • Investor Persona

    • Press Apply Now beside Investor Persona to choose it.
    • You will be asked to fill some details: name of company, year of establishment, sector, company headcount, investment size and contact person/title.
    • You should also upload some supporting documents [CV, projects, researches, etc.].

  • Entrepreneur Persona

    The Entrepreneur Persona is for individual entrepreneurs who create new information technology businesses, ventures, projects or activities.

    • Press Apply Now beside Entrepreneur Persona to choose it.
    • You will be asked to fill some details like: full name in Arabic, ID number, graduation status, your current employer, previous projects, background, technologies, and sector(s) you serve(d).
    • You should also upload some supporting documents [CV, projects, researches, etc.].

  • Startup Persona

    • Press Apply Now beside Startup Persona to choose it.
    • You will be asked to fill some details: name of startup, year of registration, technology, sector, address and website.
    • You should also upload some supporting documents [startup logo. etc.]
