Ahmed Adel has obtained a Bachelor degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2010 from Fayoum University.
Adel is passionate for volunteering and developing the society. In 2009, he was the founder of IEEE Fayoum University Student Branch and set the stage for his career.
In 2011, he co-founded Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) Egypt competition, one of the most successful competitions and the only one run in Egypt in the field of underwater robotics.
In addition, he participated in a variety of national initiatives and competitions, e.g. Start with Google, Ethraa business plan competition and Initiatives for Egypt.
Ahmed embarked on a journey to gain knowledge and experience in supporting startups since over 6 years working for the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC). He began as an incubation coordinator reaching a senior incubation specialist. Adel worked with, mentored and supported more than 100 IT startups. Prior to TIEC, Ahmed was a project manager at Hadath for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, operations and maintenance engineer at the National Air Navigation Service Company and information system engineer for the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT).
Ahmed’s areas of expertise include entrepreneurship, incubation operation, service management (ITIL certified), startups business model innovation, and nontechnical mentoring as a member of Mowgli mentorship network.
