ITIDA Organizes New Round of Women Entrepreneurship Program
The Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC) of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) launched a new round of the Women Entrepreneurship Program.
The free program aims to train female entrepreneurs nationwide on startup methodologies and concepts and help them achieve their goals. A wide range of advantages will be provided to distinguished female entrepreneurs by the program.
Female entrepreneurs will be working on their own projects based on the program interactive training. They will be also closely monitored.
Target of the program is female entrepreneurs whose projects are ICT-related, including websites, mobile applications, software programs, or Internet of Things (IoT)-powered platforms; or those who have any project that can be upgraded with a digital marketing interface, such as handicrafts or Do It Yourself (DIY) kits and others.
Women Entrepreneurship Program is aimed at supporting early-stage women entrepreneurs operating in the ICT sector. The primary target audience of the program is women entrepreneurs whose product is technology or those who use technology as an assistant factor to commercialize their products.
The target of the program is to reach women with a skill set that would allow them to start their own businesses.
Established in 2010, TIEC aims to drive innovation and entrepreneurship in the local ICT industry through building the capacity of enterprises and individuals, providing innovation assessment and certification services, and participating in national innovation initiatives.
