“She Hackathon,” a first of its kind competition, aims at (1) enabling women to earn a higher income, (2) encourage greater participation in the local products, and (3) enriching the life of the Egyptian family. The competition goes with multiple initiatives the MCIT launched to enahnce the efficiency of women and girls in different governorates to embrace and instill IT in their work disciplines and routines.
CREATIVA Digital Innovation Hubs hosted She Hackathon 3-day proceedings in Mansoura, Qena, Sohag, Minya, Ismailia, Menoufia, and Aswan with over 800 participants involved offline or online.
The TIEC Center accommodated the closure ceremony. Both TIEC and Intel announced three Egyptian women entrepreneurs who won the competition.
