Hack4inar is a 4 days event that will bring developers from all over Egypt to kick start some useful applications for Inar. The event is divided over two weekends and a ceremony gathering. The event is organized by Tiec. Prizes worth up to 30,000 LE in cash + goodies + Tiec acceleration opportunity will be offered.
The event is open for any AWESOME mobile developer. You can develop native or hybrid applications. Please check all techy details here to get an idea of the technologies that can be used. Registeration deadline is 20th of May, hurry up :)
Developers are encouraged to apply individually as teams will be formed during ideation. However, we will allow teams of maximum 3 pre-defined members to register together by choosing a name for their team and specifying this name to the registration form.
First, you will be coached with your team through ideation and sketching. The themes will be announced on the first day of the event.
Then comes the hacking time: 24 hours of coding over two days. The aim is to collaborate with your team to bring your idea to life as quickly as possible.
Only working demos will get an opportunity to demo for the judges. Every team will have 5 minutes for the demo.
The best three ideas will get prizes up to 30,000 LE + goodies for all :). Wait ... there is more. The best team gets an opportunity to join the TIEC accelerator.
There are no fees for registeration. Food, drinks, snacks and transportation will be provided. The event will take place in TIEC, smart village, 6th of October. Transportation will be provided from Nasr city and Mohandessein.
Bring your laptop with all the development tools that you require. You will need to come fully set and ready to work. There is no time to waste. Also make sure you bring your national ID or any formal personal identification.
Originality, feasibility, scalability and the benefits to the Egyptian society. Complexity will be taken in consideration as different technologies are allowed for development.
