Program Details
What does TEA do?
TEA provides a set of well-formulated topics
covering the aspects of turning ideas into
strong business plans; going through legalities,
financials, marketing, operations management,
branding and writing business plans.
How many rounds are there every year? and
How long is each round?
- TEA runs 2 times a year.
- Each round runs for 12 weeks (3 months)
- During the 12 weeks, the workshops and
mentorship sessions take place on 18 working
days. The rest of the 12 weeks are gaps for the
teams to implement the concepts and techniques
they have learned to develop their startup.

Who should apply?
If you have an idea or a prototype in
Information & Communication Technologies
(Website, Mobile Application, Software, IoT ...)
or enabled by them and would like to turn that
into a startup then you are eligible to join the
TEA program.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A team of Entrepreneurs (not individual
applicants)
- Egyptian Nationality (at least one of the
founders should be Egyptian)
- Technology Competency (the team should have
the capability to develop the technology they
claim to use as a basis for their startup)
What will I develop in TEA?
After the 12 weeks you will be leaving the
program with:
- Business Plan.
- Business Development milestones.
- Technology development milestones.
- Pitch to potential investors / support
entities.

Workshops & Mentorship
Development Phases:
Each round is broken down to 3 main phases:
- Bootcamp / Onboarding
- Program Core
- Business Plan writing & Pitching techniques
Workshops:
During each round, there are 12 hands-on
workshops that aim to develop the following
building blocks in every team:
- Business Model Generation.
- Team & Company Structure.
- Innovation & Technology Management.
- Startup Marketing.
- Entrepreneurial Finance.
- Lean Methodology for Startups.
- Business Plan Writing.
- Pitching to investors.
Mentorship:
During each round, the teams spend six
dedicated sessions. The mentoring session is
usually an half hour-long time slot per team
where mentors meet start-up founders and team
members
Mentors spend that time understanding the core
business of the team to give them their best
possible feedback and share their experience.
Based on the different stages of the program,
the mentorship days' focus changes to suit the
teams' development stage.

studied and have been working on game development and design for the past year
and we have created multiple prototypes. We are specialized in making VR console
games for HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, we have worked on multiple commercial and non-

presenting our latest VR prototype, a game targeting the American VR gamers
which hold the lion share in the VR gaming market. The game comes in cartoonish
style which is quite unique in the market, and it is about a nerd kid fighting
bullies from his tree-house, with all sort of funny weapons and traps. The game
is called Lord of the Nerds and it is a shooting/tower defense game.

advertising packages for 7 months.
